This case comes before the court on a consolidation of two appeals. In the first appeal, number 93-CA-1536, plaintiff, Cornelius Bridgett, appeals the trial court's dismissal on March 12, 1993, of his claim for punitive damages. In the second appeal, number 94-CA-0112, defendants, Odeco, Inc. and Tidex, Inc., appeal various aspects of the trial court's judgment in favor of plaintiff rendered on August 18, 1993.
