Defendants were convicted of attempted illegal use of a weapon by discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle on a public highway with the intent to injure, harm or frighten another human being. La.R.S. 14:94(E). Both defendants were sentenced as second felony offenders to ten years at hard labor. Their motions to reconsider the sentence were denied.
