The issue in this appeal is whether a written compromise of a tort suit should be set aside because of an alleged misunderstanding on the part of the tortfeasors' insurer as to what sums it obligated itself to pay to the plaintiff. The trial judge determined that the words of the compromise were clear and explicit, and led to no absurd consequences, and he therefore ordered the insurer to comply with the terms of the agreement as written.
