BYRNES, Judge.

Oliver and Judith Bosse appeal the dismissal of the City of New Orleans (City) on motion for summary judgment, as well as the dismissal of plaintiffs' tort action against Westinghouse Electric Corporation (Westinghouse). We affirm.

On May 18, 1987 at approximately 6:45 a.m. Oliver Bosse slipped and fell when he stepped off of an elevator on the seventh floor in City Hall where he worked. Employed as a city inspector, Mr. Bosse's work shift began...
