The appellant in this automobile insurance case struck a pedestrian while driving an automobile she had previously insured with the appellee, Colonial Insurance. The pedestrian obtained a jury verdict of approximately $22,000.00 from his insurer, Allstate, which then received a judgment for this amount against the appellant. The appellant's insurance company, the appellee, denied coverage, claiming that the appellant's automobile policy had been cancelled...
