Appellant, Alton Craig Jordan, was convicted by a jury of the offense of aggravated robbery. See Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 29.03 (Vernon Supp.1994). The jury assessed punishment at confinement for life in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
