WILSON, Justice.

Appellant, Robert Bynum, appeals from a jury finding of guilty for the offense of aggravated assault. Appellant's first trial resulted in a mistrial after the jury was unable to reach a verdict. At a second trial, a second jury found appellant guilty of aggravated assault. After appellant pled true to two enhancement paragraphs, the jury assessed punishment at 50 years in prison.
