Felipe Cordova suffered a compensable hand injury but died of non-work related causes before he could file for permanent disability benefits. His surviving spouse, San Juana Cordova (Cordova), then applied for permanent disability benefits from the Wyoming Worker's Compensation Division (Division) on behalf of her deceased husband. On motions for summary judgment, a hearing officer ruled that Cordova could not pursue permanent disability...
