Claimant, Sidney Davis, filed an application for adjustment of claim pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act (Act) (Ill.Rev. Stat.1987, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) seeking benefits for injuries which allegedly arose out of and in the course of his employment with respondent, Charles Gramlich. Following a hearing, the arbitrator found that no employer-employee relationship existed between respondent
