Otero, Jr., was found guilty of one count each of the possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 56½, par. 1402(c) (now 720 ILCS 570/402(c) (West 1992))) and the possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine with the intent to deliver (Ill.Rev.
