Defendant, Gregory Slang, appeals his conviction and sentence following a jury verdict in which he was found guilty of attempted second degree murder and armed robbery of William Hess. The trial court found defendant to be a third felony offender and sentenced him to 120 years imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence on the armed robbery conviction.
