Michael Scanlon Wilson, the appellant, was indicted by the Montgomery County grand jury for distribution of a controlled substance, cocaine, in violation of § 13A-12-211, Code of Alabama 1975. Pursuant to a plea agreement and an amendment to the indictment, he pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years' imprisonment, which sentence was suspended on the condition...
