This is a first degree murder case where the appellant, J.D. Stewart, was sentenced to 40 years. He raises three issues on appeal: (1) whether the trial court erred in refusing to give his proffered instruction on duress to the jury; (2) whether the trial court erred in granting the State's motion in limine to prevent expert testimony concerning Stewart's intent and culpability; and (3) whether the trial court erred in refusing to allow defense counsel...
