In its complaint, Northeast Doran, Inc. ("Doran") alleged that Key Bank of Maine ("Key"), mortgagee and subsequent vendor of the property at issue, was liable for cleanup costs under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act ("CERCLA"), as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 ("SARA").
