Michael Allen Griffin appeals his convictions of first-degree murder and other crimes and corresponding sentence of death. We have jurisdiction pursuant to article V, section 3(b)(1) of the Florida Constitution.

On April 27, 1993, Griffin, Samuel Velez, and Nicholas Tarallo determined to commit a burglary. They left Tarallo's apartment in Griffin's father's Cadillac and drove to the location of a white Chrysler LeBaron where they switched cars...
