Defendant Stanley Kong (Kong) appeals the circuit court's October 13, 1992 judgment convicting him of Burglary in the Second Degree (BSD), Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 708-811 (1985), and the Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle (UCPV), HRS § 708-836 (1985). Kong's appeal attacks the October 8, 1992 order (October 8, 1992 Order) denying his August 12, 1992 Motion to Suppress Statements and for Voluntariness
