I. INTRODUCTION

Johnny Johnson, a/k/a Smokey, and Jimmy Spruill, a/k/a Little Jimmy, were indicted by the grand jury of Leflore County in its November 1990 term and charged with the sale of cocaine and conspiracy to sell cocaine.
