Defendant Peter Weber was charged by indictment with first degree murder and concealment of a homicidal death. (720 ILCS 5/9-1, 5/9-3.1 (West 1992).) Following a jury trial, he was found guilty of both offenses and sentenced to twenty five (25) years and five (5) years, respectively, to be served consecutively.
