PER CURIAM:

On December 11, 1992, appellant Joseph Weldon Smith was convicted, pursuant to a jury trial, of three counts of first degree murder with use of a deadly weapon for killing his wife, Judith Smith, and Judith's daughters, Wendy Jean Cox and Kristy Cox. All three victims had been struck by a blunt object, which the state alleged was a hammer, and then manually strangled. Smith was also convicted of attempted murder with use of a deadly...
