Henry Lee Harrison was indicted in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Mississippi, for the capital murder of seven year-old April Sherry Turner during the commission of a rape. The lower court granted Harrison's change of venue motion and trial commenced on June 4, 1990, in Forrest County. The jury convicted Harrison and following a sentencing hearing, imposed the death penalty...
