CANNON, Justice.

Appellant, Craig Ponder, M.D. (Ponder) appeals from a summary judgment granted in favor of appellees, attorney, Ronald M. Mankoff (Mankoff), and a group of law firms who included Mankoff as a shareholder or partner. Ponder filed suit alleging that appellees gave him faulty legal advice on the tax consequences of investing in a tax shelter.
