Following a bench trial, defendant, Alan Kaye a/k/a Alan Kirschner, was found guilty on 13 counts of automobile related theft (Ill. Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 95½ pars. 4-103(a)(1); 4-103(a)(2); and 4-103(a)(4)), and one count of theft of vehicle property by deception (Ill.
