Johnnie Hall appeals his convictions for aggravated battery and false imprisonment. Hall was tried jointly with codefendant Thomas Preston. This court reversed Preston's conviction and remanded for a new trial. Preston v. State, 641 So.2d 169 (Fla. 3d DCA 1994). The same principles apply to Hall's appeal.
