The Criminal Court of Hamilton County entered judgment convicting Cornelius Kendricks, the defendant, of aggravated rape1 and aggravated kidnapping.2 Finding that certain of the victim's statements had been erroneously admitted into evidence as "fresh complaints," the Court of Criminal Appeals reversed the convictions.
