Defendant Willie Steven Lockhart pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute approximately 1.5 kilograms of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841, 846. The trial court applied the mandatory minimum sentence prescribed by 21 U.S.C. § 841(b)(1)(B) for violations of sections 841 or 846 involving more than 500 grams of cocaine and sentenced defendant to 60 months of confinement and four years of supervised...
