Hollingsworth, III (plaintiff), was injured on December 17, 1988, in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, when the pickup truck he was operating collided with a truck operated by Alphonse Broomfield and owned by Broomfield's employer, Nick Martinolich, Inc.
