The record in this case indicates that since 1980 claimant Margaret Nelson (Nelson) occasionally has suffered numbness and tingling in both of her hands, Nelson was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and possible thoracic outlet syndrome in 1980. She refused to undergo surgery to relieve the carpal tunnel syndrome. Nelson continued to intermittently experience numbness and tingling in her hands...
