W. Eugene Bridgewater brought this action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against Ron C. Caples, a former deputy sheriff for Nemaha County, Nebraska, alleging that Caples had unlawfully arrested him without a warrant or probable cause. Caples appeals from the district court's denial of his summary judgment motion based on qualified immunity.
