Following a jury trial, defendant Keith Williams was found guilty of possession with the intent to deliver more than 100 grams but less than 400 grams of a controlled substance containing cocaine. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 56½, par. 1401(a)(2)(B) (now 720 ILCS 570/401(a)(2)(B) (West 1992)).) The trial judge sentenced defendant to 14 years in the Illinois Department...
