Plaintiff, Jeanette Delery, a paralegal, filed the instant suit seeking damages for injuries she received as a result of a fall from an office chair in May, 1986. She sued the manufacturer of the chair, Steelcase, Inc. and the owner of the building where she worked, Ayrshire Land Dome Joint Venture (Ayrshire). After a judge trial, Steelcase was dismissed, judgment in the amount of $355,025.98, plus interest and costs was rendered in plaintiff's favor...
