The University of Minnesota denied tenure to Aparna Ganguli and terminated her probationary appointment. Ganguli obtained a writ of certiorari, seeking review of the University's decision. On appeal, Ganguli claims that the University's actions violated her employment contract, were based upon improper procedures, and were arbitrary and capricious.
