THIBODEAUX, Judge.

In this slip and fall case, Wal-Mart, the defendant, appeals a judgment which awarded Stacie Rabalais $14,000.00 in general damages. Wal-Mart claims that the trial judge abused his discretion in concluding that Ms. Rabalais proved a lack of reasonable care on Wal-Mart's part and that it had constructive knowledge of the condition causing the damage. It also claims the award of $14,000.00 is excessive.
