CARTER, Judge.

Defendant, Lon Hunter, was charged by bill of information with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966A. He pled not guilty and filed a motion to suppress. After a hearing, the trial court denied the motion to suppress. Defendant withdrew his not guilty plea and pled guilty as charged, reserving his right to appeal the trial court's denial of the motion to suppress. See State v. Crosby,
