W.R. Grace & Co. — Conn. (Grace) and Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corporation (Owens-Corning) appeal a final judgment which awarded damages to Arthur and Jean Dougherty in a negligence action involving asbestos. The Doughertys initiated litigation against forty-eight parties who manufactured asbestos-containing products. The Doughertys introduced expert medical evidence at trial which indicated that asbestos exposure over a short period of time...
