After trial by jury, he was found guilty as charged and sentenced by the court as a second felony offender to serve fifteen years at hard labor. On appeal, the Fourth Circuit found that the trial court erred in failing to suppress a marked twenty dollar bill seized from an Andrew Atkins at the same time the police...
