Plaintiff Gordon Sullivan commenced this action in the District Court for the Eighth Judicial District in Cascade County to recover damages from his employer, the Sisters of Charity, based on his discharge from employment at the Columbus Hospital. Sullivan's wrongful discharge claim was tried before a jury, which returned a verdict in his favor in the amount of $70,000.
