In this consolidated case arising in admiralty, Plaintiff-Appellant Jimmie John Miller, Jr. (Miller) filed suit against Defendant-Appellee Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. (PHI) for injuries allegedly sustained in a helicopter crash in the Gulf of Mexico on July 14, 1988. Following PHI's pre-trial stipulation of liability, the only issue at trial was damages.
