The appellant, Raque Sterling, was convicted of aggravated robbery and for being a felon in possession of a weapon. The robbery victim had been shot, and his jewelry and wallet were taken. Sterling was sentenced as a habitual offender to 50 years imprisonment for the robbery conviction and 15 years for the weapons conviction, with the two sentences to run concurrently.
