Moore, sought benefits pursuant to the Workers' Compensation Act (Act) (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 48, par. 138.1 et seq.) for injuries allegedly sustained to his left shoulder on September 20, 1990, while employed with Gano Electrical Contracting (Gano).
