Bradley D. Martin pleaded no contest in the justice court to four misdemeanor complaints charging him with "taking wildlife by illegal means using an automatic weapon with silencer." Nine months later, the County Attorney filed a motion in the justice court to forfeit the rifle and silencer. The justice court ordered the forfeiture, and Martin appealed to the Bosque County Court.
