This appeal involves a dispute under Act 401 of the Public Grain Warehouse Law between the creditors of Sunrice Milling, Inc., a public grain warehouse, over the proceeds from the sale of rice in its possession. The chancellor held that Ark.Code Ann. § 2-17-303(a) (1987) protected the claims of the appellees who produced the rice and that their claims were entitled to be paid first from the proceeds from the sale of the rice.
