The defendant, Patrick J. Marlow, was convicted by a jury of forcible rape (§ 566.030, RSMo 1986) and sentenced as a prior, persistent and class X offender (§§ 558.016, 558.019, RSMo Supp.1993) to twenty-one years imprisonment. The defendant raises four issues on appeal.
