Defendant, Stephen L. Christopher, appeals from the judgment of conviction entered on a jury verdict finding him guilty of the unlawful sale or possession of a controlled substance. We reverse.

The charges against defendant were brought after he sold cocaine to an undercover officer. At trial, defendant claimed his innocence, asserting that an informant had "set him up" and that he was unaware that the package he passed to the undercover...
