YAÑEZ, Justice.

Appellant, Oscar Cantu, appeals from convictions for murder and two counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer. After finding the appellant guilty on all charges, the jury assessed punishment at 75 years for murder and 25 years for each count of aggravated assault.
