A jury in this maritime case rendered a verdict in favor of the shipper and against the carrier for failure to deliver goods and for damages to other goods caused by negligence of the carrier. In post-trial proceedings the district court awarded pre-judgment interest to the plaintiff, but refused to award attorney fees. 839 F.Supp. 1359.
