Alisa Lynn Boyd, the plaintiff, 27, lost her personal injury case when a jury found that, although Ruby Menard, the defendant, negligently rear-ended the car Boyd was driving on a street in Abbeville on November 27, 1990, Menard's negligence was not a cause of any injury to the plaintiff.
