LARSON, Justice.

This is an appeal by the plaintiff from a summary judgment entered on behalf of a guardian ad litem appointed pursuant to Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure 13 and 14. We affirm.

David Babbe was charged with arson and conspiracy to commit arson and was released on $25,000 bail. He provided bail by conveying two parcels of real estate to the clerk of the district court. Babbe was found guilty, and the district court scheduled a hearing on his posttrial...
