The State of Alaska, Department of Labor, Employment Security Division (ESD), determined that Jeffrey W. Risch was discharged for misconduct in connection with his work and thereby was disqualified from receiving benefits during the prescribed statutory period.1 Specifically, ESD found, based on a positive urinalysis, that Risch had intentionally used marijuana...
