Lawrence W. Burdette, Jr. appeals the decision of the Circuit Court of Kanawha County finding that he guaranteed payment to Earl R. Scyoc of the rent and utilities moneys due Mr. Scyoc from Michael Holmes in the amount of $5,953.21. On appeal Mr. Burdette maintains that he was not a guarantor of Mr. Holmes' debt and that he received no consideration from Mr. Scyoc.
