Defendant appeals from convictions for two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of great bodily injury by vehicle. He contends that (1) he was deprived of his right to a speedy trial by the ten and one-half months between arrest and trial, and (2) he was deprived of due process of law when the district court instructed the jury on a mandatory presumption.
